LUC DIERCKX, INSTIGATOR

luc@cs.ubc.ca

Born in Belgium, a professional ballet danseur turned computer nerd. "I have been a Buddhist practitioner longer than I can remember yet one of my colleagues recently called me "the most un-Buddhist person" he'd ever met. When Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche married my wife and me, he predicted the marriage would last only a year. I've been with her for seven years--just to spite him. Still, one day I hope to perceive my teacher as perfect.

ALEX SALTER, SOUND RECORDIST

asalter@ns.sympatico.ca

" Working on the sound for WOMPT was both rewarding and challenging. I love to work on films where I get the chance to work on location, recording, and in sound postproduction, editing. The decision to record the location sound on digital audio tape, DAT, rather than on the camera,DV, resulted in high quality audio. This ensured a wonderfully realistic Dolby Digital soundtrack that has lots of depth and presence."
